Our Process

No matter the size of the project, MVP’s development process is highly integrated, interactive, and linear with many small steps throughout. From the very first correspondence with the client right up to delivery, MVP engages in discussions, diagrammatic wireframes, and a client approval process that makes sure the development honors and exceeds the vision. MVP keeps the client abreast through constant communication and multiple requests for feedback and approval. MVP looks to build long-term relationships with our clients. Because we want to retain and grow those relationships, we aim to be as efficient, cost-effective, and transparent in our process and methods as possible.

Strategic Marketing Discussions
MVP initiates client contact with strategic marketing discussions to determine the exact needs, identify all potential challenges and opportunities that may be involved in addressing them, and outlining potential strategies for successfully leveraging available advantages while mitigating risk.
Conceptual Discussion
For all projects, once MVP receives a client request, we discuss a preliminary plan and concept.
Internal
Review
After a concept is presented and finalized, MVP discusses the details internally and produces a formal time study and cost estimate.
Time Study & Proposal
The time study will become part of a formal proposal, outlining each step of the project from start to finish, including what is required from both MVP and the client, and outlining in detail the specific project deliverables.
Acceptance
and Kick-Off
Upon approval, client goals and MVP processes are discussed at the start of the project, and a plan for development is set to meet those goals within the estimated time and budget quoted.
Search Engine Marketing
MVP conducts competitive intelligence analysis matched to the client's established goals to determine the most effective ways to capture the ideal market for the project, including where relevant keyword research detailing the ways in which online audiences are finding the solutions offered by the client.
Architecture
MVP outlines the proposed user interface architecture and navigation based upon search patterns and/or competitive intelligence analysis for client review. Once approved, design testing and GUI concepts begin.
Marketing Messages
Preceding design, MVP works with the client to develop marketing messages as appropriate, including overview marketing messages, tag lines and slogans, an executive summary, and compelling calls to action that effectively drive customer conversion.
Design
MVP ensures client satisfaction with design through iterative phases of design tests, including color palette, marketing message presentation, and user interface designs, as well as the general aesthetics. Corporate/organizational identity are enhanced with graphic designs that are developed based on usability issues, navigational menus, appeal, and color theory.
Build-Out
After all necessary design concepts have been approved, MVP technical staff match finalized graphics to the code as per the established keyword research and/or architecture, generating interactive GUIs that empower effortless navigation to specific information and access to any information processing tools that may be included in the project.
Beta-Testing & Soft Launch
Pre-launch testing is conducted for interactive projects to assess integrity, load, stability, compatibility, speed, and most importantly, user experience and usability analysis.
Quality Assurance
Using the latest software, technology, and a wealth of experience, MVP technical staff will make sure your project is fully functional and meeting its full potential through ongoing monitoring, metrics, maintenance, and support.
Metrics & Analytics Monitoring plus Refinement
MVP's proprietary SureThing™ search engine optimization program includes regular metrics and analytics reporting to clients to present a clear picture of the performance of any search engine marketing platform, with continual refinements initiated to websites to ensure continuous strengthening of the client's online presence while also keeping ahead of the curve on SEO industry trends.
