This new responsive website was designed and developed by DDA for The Helm Center in 2017. DDA had produced their previous website in 2012, having established the organization’s new brand and identity as The Helm Center with a new logo and the brand established by the new website design. This earlier website included lots of keyword-rich organic search engine optimized (SEO) content written by DDA’s own professional writers to direct online traffic to the site from the major search engines. After five years, Dr. Helm thought it was best to move forward with the latest industry trends and develop a new responsive website to shore up and build upon his existing search engine marketing value, while offering an online presentation optimized to viewers of all devices and screen sizes—including the over 50% of web traffic coming from searches on mobile devices.
The responsive website’s homepage features a parallax-scrolling design to impart a layered, 2.5D effect and thus add visual appeal. A recent video on Dr. Helm’s practice that made the local news was incorporated into the homepage to give a more personal introduction to The Helm Center, while also improving search engine rank. The full complement of original SEO, marketing, and blog content was ported over from the previous website to ensure maximum rank on the major search engines.
New content, along with new marketing messages and imagery by DDA, was incorporated to highlight important new healthcare services provided by the organization. A comprehensive questionnaire form is included to help automize the process of onboarding new patients. The bold new responsive website design, with its clean, modern, and colorful aesthetic, video introduction, and extensive SEO content demonstrates the professionalism, exceptional quality, and forward-thinking approach of the healthcare organization it represents. It was received enthusiastically by the client, with special gratitude extended for its timely delivery: “I can't tell you how many problems this is going to resolve! On behalf of the entire staff, Thank You! Please extend our gratitude to the developers as well, for getting this done so quick...”
